Following what they described as a "racially aggravated" incident in central London, British police released an information request stating that they would like to speak with two individuals.
On Monday, the British Transport Police made public a picture of the people they want to speak with about the event. The pair in the picture have been identified by CNN as Melissa Rein Lively, a MAGA influencer, and Philipp Ostermann, her financial partner. Whether the police thought the pair was engaged in the incident was not said.
According to police, the incident happened at the Bond Street Tube station, which is located in the center of London's commercial sector, at 7:30 p.m. local time on October 11.According to the police statement, a woman was beaten and subjected to racial slurs while she and her family were entering a train station.
Along with her sister and two small children, one of whom was in a pushchair, the victim was making her way into the Bond Street Underground station. When the woman struck the pushchair, a man and woman were walking together in front of them, according to the authorities.
Before the woman pulled her hair, the man started yelling racial epithets at the victim and her family. The man produced a little container, claimed it was pepper spray, and sprayed the woman and her family after she attempted to defend herself. Before both parties left the location, the woman yelled obscenities and made obscene gestures at them, according to the police.
